STRONG WOMEN, STRONG CAREER

The basic foundation of any society is the woman. She’s the grass roots of every solid endeavor since the beginning of time. She signifies endurance, nurturing, and dependability. When two or more women are united with a purpose given by God, they are unstoppable. Their motives are pure and altruistic. Everyone around them flourishes.

A strong woman in a strong career honors God above all things. She is a powerful force in this ever-changing world. Look out for her determination and persistence.

A career-minded woman doesn’t necessarily work outside the home. More and more businesses are using virtual offices. The advantage of working from home doesn’t mean the tasks are any less, sometimes more. But it is a luxury for many women.

Career-minded women label time a precious commodity. They juggle the demands of their chosen occupations and their families’ needs. Their days begin before dawn and last long after the sun goes down.

A career as a wife and mother is as stressful as the high-powered executive or business owner. Maintaining a home and its family members in smooth running order takes a unique skill set. The woman who chooses to homeschool her children by reeducating herself on a daily basis takes on another level of importance and responsibility. She nurtures tomorrow’s leaders with love while filling their inquisitive minds with knowledge.

Every career-woman understands the meaning of busy. Sometimes it’s hard to get to sleep because the goings-on of the previous day and what’s happening tomorrow bangs against the side of her head, robbing her of needed rest.

Proper nutrition and regular exercise keeps the woman healthy and alert. To ensure she is mentally and spiritually fit, she must find time for herself. Reading nonfiction and fiction articles and books while staying informed of the world and community affairs can be a recipe for exhaustion.

A woman functions successfully on balance. My admiration goes out to the woman who is organized and ready for every possible mishap. There’s probably a Proverb about that very thing.A woman who is faithful to God, is true to herself, her family, and her community.

Are you a career woman who wrestles with time management while striving for personal and professional goals? Please share your tips on how you can smile at the world in the midst of chaos.

About Diann’s latest book: Deep Extraction: FBI Task Force, Book 2

A pacemaker should have saved oil and gas magnate Nathan Moore’s life. Instead, it provided his killer with a seemingly perfect means of execution.

A bombing at one of Nathan’s oil rigs days earlier indicates his death could be part of a bigger conspiracy, a web Special Agent Tori Templeton must untangle. But her first order of business is separating the personal from the professional—the victim’s wife, her best friend, is one of the FBI’s prime suspects.

Clearing Sally’s name may be the biggest challenge of her career, but Tori finds an unexpected ally in the newest member of the task force, recently reinstated Deputy US Marshal Cole Jeffers. As Tori and Cole dig deeper into Nathan’s personal and business affairs, they uncover more than they bargained for. And the closer they get to finding the real killer—and to each other—the more intent someone is on silencing them for good.
